Job description
The Senior Registration Platform Team Leader at Tahaluf leads registration operations for large-scale B2B events in Saudi Arabia. This strategic role involves managing a team responsible for third-party registration platforms, particularly Visit by GES, and driving innovation in registration technologies. The role includes platform optimization, technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the delivery of a high-quality customer registration experience aligned with business growth and transformation goals.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for registration platform operations across all Tahaluf events.
- Lead the registration team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, show directors, and technology partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance registration processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the principal subject matter expert on the Visit by GES platform, leading complex implementations and solving critical technical challenges.
- Architect advanced registration solutions for high-profile, large-scale events with complex requirements.
- Identify and implement innovative registration technologies and integrations that enhance customer experience.
- Lead platform optimization initiatives to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop technical documentation, training materials, and best practice guidelines.
- Partner with show teams on end-to-end registration setup, ensuring adherence to strict timelines.
- Oversee registration for multiple events simultaneously, ensuring flawless execution.
- Manage resource allocation and prioritization to optimize efficiency across the department.
- Design and implement standardized processes and quality control measures.
- Conduct post-event analysis including data evaluation and strategic recommendations.
- Develop KPIs to measure registration performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and CX teams to integrate registration with other customer touchpoints.
- Represent the registration function in cross-departmental strategic planning sessions.
- Provide expert consultation to show teams on registration best practices and solutions.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in registration platform management, preferably in the events industry.
- 7+ years in the events industry with a focus on registration or customer experience preferred.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Proficiency with Visit by GES platform.
- Knowledge of API integrations, data management, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages.
- Understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
- Experience with workflow automation and process optimization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Monday.com, Smartsheet, airtable, CRM systems, and data tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally for event support.
