The Senior Associate Business Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity of S&P Global Energy Commercial Teams while delivering an exceptional customer experience by acting as a critical link between Commercial Managers, Commercial Contract Support, Fulfillment, Order Management, and Collections teams. The role focuses on streamlining and accelerating the contract processing workflow to improve operational efficiency and ensure that S&P Global Energy clients receive services promptly and effectively, directly impacting client satisfaction and loyalty. The position supports sales representatives by enabling them to concentrate on revenue-generating activities, strengthening customer interactions, and ensuring an outstanding end-to-end service experience. Responsibilities include close collaboration with Commercial Contract Support, Order Management, and Collection teams to implement commercial contracts, trials, and service changes; managing auto renewals, multi-year agreements, and ad hoc sales; monitoring contracts expiring within six months; preparing and managing Master Service Agreements and Service Agreements in compliance with legal and pricing standards; overseeing the sales pipeline and maintaining accurate Salesforce reporting; engaging in contract negotiations and consolidation; supporting invoicing and payment processes; responding to client inquiries; managing contract escalations; preparing presentations; and supporting Commercial Managers and Client Development Managers in business management and account planning. The role requires deep understanding of S&P Global Energy contract processing procedures, interaction with clients, and acting as a backup point of contact for client inquiries. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within S&P Global Energy, a division of S&P Global, which provides data, benchmarks, research, advisory, and intelligence across global energy and commodities markets, including Platts, CERA, Horizons, and Events. This role is exclusively for Saudi nationals, with no sponsorship or relocation offered.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Commercial Contract Support, Order Management, and Collection teams to ensure timely and efficient implementation of commercial contracts, trials, and service changes.
- Facilitate processing of auto renewals, multi-year agreements, and ad hoc sales to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Monitor and report on contracts expiring within six months and coordinate timely renewal discussions with Commercial Managers and clients.
- Prepare and manage Master Service Agreements and Service Agreements for new orders and renewals in line with legal and pricing standards.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and maintain accurate Salesforce reporting.
- Respond to client inquiries and manage open contract escalations to ensure swift resolution and sustained client relationships.
- Assist management with preparation of presentations by gathering insights and creating effective visual materials.
- Engage in contract negotiations and consolidation and provide clients with information on invoicing and payment processes.
- Support Commercial Managers and Client Development Managers in business management, account planning, and during travel.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint with prior experience in sales support and/or order administration roles.
- Build and apply deep understanding of S&P Global Energy contract processing procedures with capability to interact directly with clients.
- Maintain and manage Salesforce reporting, sales pipeline oversight, and order processing activities.
- Apply financial analysis mindset to support invoicing, payment processes, and contract-related decisions.
- Hold a degree and/or other business discipline or training and possess broad-based knowledge of Salesforce, order processing, and commercial operations.
