Job description
The Senior Product Designer at Salla in Jeddah is responsible for leading the design of innovative digital products across web, iOS, Android, and operator platforms. The role involves creating user-centered design solutions aligned with business goals, conducting user research to inform design decisions, developing detailed design specifications, and maintaining design consistency across products through design systems. The Senior Product Designer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, presents design work to stakeholders for feedback, mentors junior designers, and drives a culture of design thinking throughout the organization. The position requires proficiency in design and prototyping tools, a strong portfolio of successful product design, and a deep understanding of emerging design trends and patterns.

Key responsibilities
- Design digital experiences for web, iOS, Android, and operator platforms, ensuring high usability and user satisfaction
- Lead the design of new product features from concept to execution, applying user-centered design principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective and innovative design solutions
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and discovery activities to identify customer insights and inform design decisions
- Develop detailed design specifications, maintain design documentation, and ensure design consistency across all products and platforms
- Drive design thinking and a strong design culture across the organization, mentoring junior designers on best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and design patterns to ensure innovative solutions
- Present design work to internal teams and stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate on designs accordingly
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design with a focus on UX/UI
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering successful products
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and similar platforms
- Experience leading design projects from concept to execution
- Ability to conduct user research and identify actionable customer insights
- Experience developing design strategies that address both customer needs and business objectives
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers and promoting a design culture within the team
