Job description
The Senior Account Manager, Startups, at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Dubai will focus on driving growth, revenue, and adoption of AWS cloud services among well-funded, high-potential startups across the MENA region. The role involves ensuring customer success for early- and mid-stage startups, developing and executing comprehensive account and territory plans, and creating compelling value propositions for AWS services. The position requires extensive collaboration with internal teams, including business development, marketing, solution architecture, and partner teams, to design and implement coordinated go-to-market strategies. Responsibilities include engaging with founders, CxOs, boards of directors, and venture capital influencers to accelerate AWS adoption, building long-term strategic relationships, and working with partners to extend reach and market penetration. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives, with knowledge of the MENA startup ecosystem, a strong network among founders and VCs, and technical acumen in AI/ML.

Experience & skills
- Proven experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
- Excellent business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience
- Knowledge of the MENA startup ecosystem and founder/VC network
- AI/ML technical acumen
- UAE national with a Family Book preferred
