Job description
The Logistics Analyst I role functions as the primary point of contact across ISC Plant Management, Supply Planning, Material Management, Sourcing, Vendors, Finance, Freight Forwarders, and Customs Brokers, ensuring seamless end-to-end logistics operations covering inbound, warehousing across two locations, distribution, exporting, and 3PL management. Responsibilities include managing KSA customs clearance processes, vendor-to-factory-to-DC shipment coordination, GRN/put-away, KABAN implementation, material issuance, OBD creation, dispatch management, cycle counts, physical counts, and maintaining SAP transactions including GRN, material issuance, FG receipts, STPO, and inventory validation. The role drives HOS (LEAN) practices, ensures regulatory compliance, manages RMA processes, oversees transporters for TAT adherence, tracks KPIs, performs reconciliation activities including IRA and Deloitte-audited stock counts, analyzes logistics financial impacts, oversees 3PL and freight forwarder performance, validates invoices and pre-alerts against PO, manages export documentation including DN and PL creation, ensures compliance with Saber and MOI approvals, supports SIOP logistics requirements, conducts weekly calls and KPI reviews, facilitates Logistics Tier meetings, and maintains proper documentation for audits and compliance. The position requires robust ERP (BRP/BRV, SAP MM/SD) proficiency, strong command of warehousing and supply chain processes, packaging standards knowledge, defect management capability, and readiness to perform mechanized operations (e.g., forklifts) as backup under HSE guidelines.

Key responsibilities
- Manage logistics, importing, warehousing across two locations, distribution, exporting, and 3PL operations including inbound, storage, outbound, and RMA activities
- Coordinate with KSA Logistics Leader to ensure global logistics strategies are implemented
- Act as focal point between vendors, procurement, and regulatory teams to manage shipments from vendors to factory and onward distribution
- Ensure full compliance with KSA customs clearance processes and local regulatory requirements
- Set warehouse goals and KPIs and implement monitoring processes
- Establish robust warehouse practices and ensure a safe working environment
- Coordinate with internal teams to track material availability and manage excess, shortages, and damage reports during inbound processing
- Oversee GRN, put-away, KABAN implementation, material issuance to production, OBD creation, courier/forwarder arrangements, and dispatches as per SOPs and SLAs
- Collaborate with customer service for timely billing and dispatches and run MOS for improved customer experience
- Develop HOS (LEAN) culture and share best practices with service providers
- Manage transporters to ensure shipment tracking and adherence to end-to-end TAT as per SLA
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer logs, training records, and safety records
- Participate in cross-functional team activities when required
- Integrate logistics processes with business systems including sales, order management, accounting, and shipping
- Ensure logistics safety performance and quality management
- Develop risk management programs to maintain supply continuity in emergencies
- Implement robust processes to ensure business continuity without dependencies
- Monitor productivity month-on-month and year-on-year in alignment with ISC logistics goals
- Manage raw material and finished goods stores with strict 5S discipline
- Create and validate inventory records in SAP and perform related transactions including GRN, material issuance, FG receipt, and STPO
- Reconcile and put away FG stock and ensure timely receipts
- Maintain stock accuracy and manage book-to-book reconciliation, IRA, and annual Deloitte-audited stock counts
- Monitor daily 3PL and freight forwarder performance using KPIs with a focus on cost control
- Analyze financial impact of logistics changes including routing, shipping modes, product volumes, and carriers
- Validate pre-alerts and invoices from forwarders and 3PLs against PO and manage freight KPIs
- Prepare export documentation including DN, PL, and support COO issuance as required
Experience & skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, and import-export customs processes within Saudi Arabia
- Graduate degree with preference for Warehouse or Supply Chain certification
- Strong command of English; Arabic knowledge is a plus
- Working knowledge of ERP BRP and BRV and preferred experience with ERP systems in supply chain and warehousing including SAP MM and SD modules
- Ability to perform SAP transactions including GRN, material issuance, FG receipt, and STPO
- Strong analytical skills with root-cause investigation capability
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel with Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and functions
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Capability to operate in challenging environments involving multiple stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes
- Knowledge of packaging standards and defect management
- Proficiency in internet and email usage
- Customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented work approach
- Knowledge of Saber and MOI-related approvals within Saudi operations
