Job description
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage within BCG's Travel, Cities and Infrastructure Practice Area, you will be part of the Transport Infrastructure sector team, supporting clients such as airports, ports, and railways on topics including infrastructure development, operations, and funding. You will focus on investment attraction, public-private partnerships, project finance, financial structures, and other pre-implementation phases of transportation infrastructure development. The role includes contributing to cases, proposals, and commercialization efforts, developing intellectual property, training junior colleagues, and engaging directly with clients both on-site and virtually.

Key responsibilities
- Apply financial and strategic analysis to infrastructure challenges including PPPs, project finance, FDI, due diligence, and investment models
- Build and maintain complex financial models across asset classes
- Assess investor perspectives, especially institutional and development finance entities in emerging markets
- Operate in client-facing roles, managing demanding stakeholders in time-sensitive environments
- Formulate and execute analytical approaches for transportation infrastructure challenges
- Communicate confidently and credibly with case teams and clients
- Collaborate effectively in virtual and agile team environments
- Bring innovative ideas and creative problem-solving to projects
- Work autonomously in a global and multicultural team
- Support commercialization efforts through proposals, workshops, and marketing materials
- Contribute to intellectual property and asset development
- Assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues
Experience & skills
- 2+ years of consulting experience in transport infrastructure and project finance/investment, or 4–6+ years industry experience
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Fluency in English; additional languages may be required in some locations
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PPPs, project finance, investment attraction, and related financial structures
- Proficiency in complex financial modeling
- Understanding of institutional and development finance investor considerations
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders under pressure
- Comfortable working collaboratively in virtual and multicultural teams
- Self-starter with flexible work ethic and ability to work independently
