The Senior AI Platform Sales Specialist (SSP) - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a highly technical sales support role within the Red Hat EMEA Technology Sales team responsible for ensuring successful Go-To-Market (GTM) execution for Red Hat AI Strategy across the assigned region while supporting the broader EMEA Geo. The role centers on driving the adoption and commercialization of the Red Hat AI Portfolio by enabling direct sales account teams and partners to deliver productive outcomes for customers using Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The specialist consults on and enables the successful execution of Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives in the assigned geography, aligning closely with Red Hat AI GTM priorities and regional sales strategies. The position requires leading hyper-competitive sales engagements, applying deep expertise in Predictive Analytics and Generative AI development practices to position differentiated value. Acting as a geo-level bi-directional conduit of GTM for Red Hat AI, the role ensures tight collaboration between sales, products, engineering, marketing, enablement, and customer success to streamline execution and feedback loops. The specialist works closely with Red Hat AI product teams to provide structured feedback, identify offering gaps, and drive continuous improvement in Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities. The role involves building and maintaining strategic relationships with Cloud Service Providers, SIs, and 3rd party ISVs to enable joint GTM motions, co-selling, and indirect sales acceleration. It requires strong knowledge of full-stack AI development and deployment tools including Feature Stores, Vector Databases, Embedding Models, ETL tooling, and modern programming languages/frameworks to guide customers from experimentation to production. The candidate must also demonstrate expertise in the Kubernetes ecosystem and competing technologies, as well as a clear understanding of DevOps, agile, and full stack application development and deployment tools such as build, deployment, project management, automation, source code management, testing, quality/security, monitoring (APM), and configuration to deliver applications to production. The role includes engaging audiences from front-line developers to CxO stakeholders, conducting evangelism conversations, mentoring sales teams on winning plays, collaborating with Products and Engineering on GTM strategies, and traveling up to 50% across the MEA region to support strategic initiatives.

- Consult on and enable the successful execution of Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI solutions within the assigned geo by aligning with Red Hat AI GTM strategy, supporting direct sales account teams and partners, and ensuring productive outcomes using the Red Hat AI Portfolio.
- Educate customers and stakeholders on the value, applications, and benefits of Red Hat's Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI offerings, positioning differentiated capabilities in competitive situations and articulating enterprise value.
- Lead and enable hyper-competitive sales engagements by leveraging expertise in Predictive Analytics and Generative AI development practices while engaging audiences from front-line developers to CxO stakeholders in evangelism and technical discussions.
- Act as a geo-level bi-directional conduit between sales, products, engineering, marketing, enablement, and customer success to ensure seamless GTM communication, execution alignment, and structured feedback loops.
- Work closely with Red Hat AI product teams to provide field-driven feedback, identify offering gaps, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI portfolio.
- Build, grow, and maintain strategic relationships with Cloud Service Providers, SIs, and 3rd party ISVs to drive joint GTM initiatives, co-selling motions, and indirect sales acceleration across the MEA region.
- Interface with regional sales leadership for account planning and GTM alignment, mentor peers on executing winning sales plays using the Challenger Sales Model, and support regional initiatives with readiness to travel up to 50%.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Data Science, Data Engineering, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI development practices with the ability to translate deep technical knowledge into effective GTM execution and sales enablement.
- Possess working knowledge of full-stack AI development and deployment tools including Feature Stores, Vector Databases, Embedding Models, ETL tooling, and modern programming languages/frameworks, along with hands-on familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and competing technologies.
- Exhibit understanding of DevOps and agile methodologies and maintain working knowledge of full stack application development and deployment tools such as build, deployment, project management, automation tools, source code management, testing tools, quality/security tools, monitoring (APM), and configuration management to deliver applications to production.
- Apply expertise as an Expert Practitioner of the Challenger Sales Model to drive structured, value-based technical sales engagements in hyper-competitive AI/ML environments.
- Maintain established relationships with Cloud Service Providers, hyperscalers, and industry partners, leveraging these relationships to drive joint GTM, co-selling, and indirect sales opportunities.
- Hold a Computer Science or other technical degree with an MBA and prior experience as a sales engineer, technical sales professional, or similar role in the Data Science AI/ML and Generative AI space.
- Demonstrate readiness to travel up to 50% across the MEA region and engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from front-line developers to CxO executives with excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
