Within Huda Beauty, a global beauty brand founded in 2013, the Finance Analyst supports the Senior Finance Controller by delivering financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the business on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role conducts in-depth financial analysis of financial data, performance metrics, and trends to generate actionable insights; assists in preparation of the annual Budget and bi-annual forecasts; performs variance analysis to monitor actuals versus budgets and forecasts, investigating variances, identifying areas of concern, and highlighting opportunities for improvement; supports the preparation of monthly financial reports and presentations for management, emphasizing key performance indicators, trends, and risks; analyzes costs and cost drivers across departments to identify cost optimization and efficiency improvements; assists in month-end closing activities and prepares the monthly consolidated P&L of the company, ensuring accuracy and correct coding of financial data; conducts ad hoc analysis and special projects as required; ensures compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements; and ensures optimization of financial software and ERP systems to improve efficiency and accuracy, all while focusing on business excellence and kindness as core values.
