Job description
Careem is building the Everything App for the Middle East, simplifying mobility, food delivery, groceries, payments, and more. Since 2012, it has created income opportunities for millions of Captains and transformed customer convenience across 10 countries. As a Senior Captain Acquisition & Market Ops Associate in Al Ain, you will lead the end-to-end captain acquisition process, ensuring strong partnerships with 3PL providers, onboarding new Captains, managing supply health, and driving operational excellence to meet Careem’s growth targets. This role is highly operational, requiring both analytical skills and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
- Own and lead the full captain acquisition process.
- Initiate and manage onboarding conversations with 3PL partners and logistics suppliers.
- Align captain supply with Careem’s growth plans by ensuring 3PLs meet their commitments.
- Track and enforce fulfillment targets for captain supply.
- Distribute captain uniforms/swag and coordinate training initiatives.
- Build and nurture relationships with 3PL providers for long-term collaboration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues with suppliers and captains.
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting of acquisition progress and supply health.
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of experience in acquisition, logistics, or operations in a fast-moving industry (mobility, food tech, q-commerce).
- Proven track record in last mile operations or supplier/vendor management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with comfort handling numbers and supply metrics.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects independently.
