Job description
The collections team is part of the Financial Remediation department. This team ensures all delinquent customers are contacted and followed up on for dues related to existing bank facilities. The department has monthly targets to contribute to the overall goals of the organization. Follow-ups occur across all products, including personal loans, credit cards, and auto loans. The role is critical in ensuring the bank meets its retail profit goals. Agents are responsible for achieving individual targets related to resolution and cash collection. Responsibilities include handling delinquent account pools, raising final settlements, updating systems, and maintaining customer satisfaction benchmarks. The role aligns with Emirates NBD values and TOM elements.

Key responsibilities
- Follow up on the delinquent pool assigned for the month and achieve respective targets.
- Raise final settlements for customers based on conditions such as job loss, salary reduction, and medical issues.
- Update the system completely based on the action code.
- Increase the number of backflow accounts in individual lists by collecting 2 or more installments monthly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction scores align with benchmarks.
- Implement and follow all TOM elements and Emirates NBD values.
Experience & skills
- BCs degree
- Arabic native speaker
- Excellent knowledge of collections processes
- Previous experience dealing with customers by telephone, e-mail, and in writing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Good listening skills and an articulate, clear telephone manner
- Computer literate, especially proficient in Excel
