Job description
The Team Leader RB-Branch at ADIB is responsible for managing a retail banking branch team, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with banking policies and Shari’a standards, driving business growth, coaching staff, and maintaining high service quality for customers.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise branch team to achieve business targets
- Ensure full compliance with ADIB policies, procedures, and Shari’a requirements
- Coach and guide staff on daily business activities to meet monthly goals
- Review and validate credit applications and critical customer documents
- Monitor attendance, leave plans, and team performance
- Handle escalated customer complaints and support resolution
- Update lead status and maintain operational reporting
- Open new business channels and support business development initiatives
- Conduct regular team meetings, motivate staff, and recognize high performers
- Identify training needs and organize coaching sessions for staff
- Ensure proper handover of customer files during staff changes
- Conduct annual staff appraisals and recommend recognition or disciplinary actions
- Visit ministries, departments, and companies to support business development reporting
Experience & skills
- Experience in retail banking or branch operations
- Proficiency with core banking systems and application sourcing tools
- Knowledge of Outlook, email, and HR systems
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Ability to handle escalated customer complaints effectively
- Familiarity with credit documentation and banking policies
- Understanding of Shari’a compliance in banking operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, monitor, and achieve operational targets
