The Digital Services Senior Manager is responsible for defining, leading, and scaling digital service experiences and backend development across the organization, acting as a Chapter Lead responsible for multidisciplinary squads and digital transformation initiatives. The role provides strategic and strong technical leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality digital services aligned with business objectives. It involves defining and implementing digital services and backend development strategy in alignment with organizational goals, leading digital services development engineers within cross-functional squads, and ensuring delivery excellence across digital platforms. The position oversees the design, development, and enhancement of digital service platforms while establishing standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for digital services. It requires collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into digital capabilities and ensuring that digital solutions comply with security, performance, and accessibility requirements. The role includes mentoring and developing chapter members to build a high-performing digital services community and evaluating emerging technologies for adoption. It also involves working with custom development technologies including Java Spring Boot-based applications, applying modern architectural design practices, and leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives at scale within Agile environments using cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes governance, scalability, integrated service design, and continuous improvement of digital ecosystems across the organization.
