The Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Riyadh Meydan (IHG Hotels & Resorts) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is responsible for developing and executing hotel sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize overall hotel profitability. The role focuses on driving sales performance across hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and food and beverage services through direct client engagement and strategic account management. The Sales Manager plays a key role in increasing occupancy rates, improving average daily rates, and expanding food and beverage revenue streams by implementing targeted sales plans and market-driven strategies. The position involves preparing regular sales reports and conducting market analysis to support business decisions and identify new revenue opportunities. The role also includes participation in budgeting and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with hotel revenue objectives. The Sales Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to enhance group sales opportunities and improve long-term business partnerships. Additionally, the role coordinates closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a high-quality guest experience. In terms of people management, the Sales Manager oversees daily sales activities, assigns tasks, ensures appropriate staffing levels, and supports the development of the sales team through training, feedback, and performance improvement initiatives. The role also contributes to fostering teamwork across departments to ensure operational efficiency and alignment of goals. From a guest experience perspective, the Sales Manager provides support and information to guests, promotes hotel services, and enhances customer satisfaction by connecting clients with relevant programs, attractions, and services. The position also contributes to strengthening the hotel's brand reputation and marketing presence within the local market while supporting overall business performance through continuous improvement of sales and marketing activities.

- Develop and implement hotel sales and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy, rate, and revenue targets
- Sell hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and food and beverage services through direct client engagement
- Prepare sales plans, market analysis, and performance reports to support revenue growth
- Participate in budget preparation and financial planning to align sales activities with revenue goals
- Manage daily sales operations including task assignment and team activity planning
- Support and train sales team members to improve performance and achieve individual development goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive group sales opportunities
- Coordinate with internal hotel departments to ensure high-quality service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Assist guests by providing information on hotel services, programs, and local attractions
- Enhance hotel brand reputation and support marketing initiatives in collaboration with other departments
Experience & skills
- 2–4 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales roles
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in marketing or a related field
- Proficiency in the local language
- Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Experience in sales target achievement and revenue generation in hospitality industry
- Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a hotel environment
