Job description
The FSI Account Technology Strategist at Microsoft, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is an on-site, full-time individual contributor role within the Technology Sales discipline. The position involves partnering with enterprise banking clients to design and drive leading-edge technology initiatives that support customersâ business outcomes while aligning with Microsoftâs strategic objectives. Paired with an Enterprise Account Executive and leveraging a multi-functional virtual team, the strategist works across the full breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio and partner ecosystem to develop AI and security strategies for financial services institutions. The role includes documenting customersâ business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy, leading discussions around AI, data, migration, and cybersecurity, and aligning solutions with customer business priorities. It involves applying industry knowledge of financial services technology platforms to build AI strategies, influencing virtual teams to employ the right technical architecture, delivering technology briefings, and developing enablement plans for customers to expand their technical capabilities. The position requires strong expertise in AI, cloud, and security technologies, along with a background in financial services industry consulting or technical sales. Key responsibilities
- Document and articulate the customerâs business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy
- Drive Microsoft business growth including partner co-sell motions and governance around consumption and intent to use
- Lead AI, data, migration, and Security conversations demonstrating alignment with customer business priorities
- Apply industry expertise to build AI strategy with the customer aligned to business outcomes and challenge assumptions with constructive dialogue
- Influence technology virtual teams to utilize the right technical architecture for customers, leveraging Microsoft and partner capabilities
- Contribute to delivery of regular industry and technology briefings to customer technology stakeholders
- Develop enablement plans for assigned customers using readiness resources to expand technical product capabilities and drive innovation
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Possess 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, or related technical/sales roles
- Have at least 3+ years of experience in the banking industry
- Hold or pursue technical certifications in cloud, AI, and/or security (preferred)
- Demonstrate ability to design and drive technology initiatives in partnership with enterprise customers
- Exhibit strong knowledge of AI technologies, cybersecurity, and data migration strategies
- Show capacity to influence multi-functional teams and build trusted technology relationships within enterprise accounts
