Job description
Tahaluf's social presence runs through a mix of agency management and hands on delivery, and this Social Media Manager role owns both sides of that equation. LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube all fall under scope, growing and engaging audiences across each platform. You'll brief, direct and quality control external agencies and creators, while owning strategy, boosting, community and performance in house. Agency workflows, content calendars and deadlines get managed across multiple events running in parallel, keeping everything on brand and on time. Campaigns get set and delivered against event milestones, from launches and registration pushes to early bird deadlines and show days. Boosting strategy identifies top performing organic content and amplifies it with paid spend, working alongside the paid media team to avoid duplication. Community work runs year round, not just during event season, supported by influencer relationships and user generated content from attendees and exhibitors. You're expected to bring 4 to 5 years in social media marketing, with demonstrable experience managing external agencies or creative teams. Reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic and registration conversions get tracked monthly, feeding insight back into briefs through social listening on brand sentiment and competitor activity.
