This executive-level role is responsible for defining long-term technology strategy, overseeing architecture and delivery, and aligning engineering priorities with business growth. The position involves building a high-performance culture, mentoring senior leaders, and enabling technical excellence across secure, scalable, customer-centric systems. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Engineering will drive innovation, ensure robust delivery standards, and foster continuous improvement to elevate the luxury digital shopping experience.

Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, including 3+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record scaling engineering organizations and distributed teams.
- Strong ability to align engineering execution with business strategy.
- Experience in technical decision-making, architecture scaling, and managing ambiguity.
- Deep understanding of product delivery, tech debt management, and trade-offs.
- Expertise in leadership, coaching, and team performance management.
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems, security, compliance, and customer-facing technology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Strategic planning and risk management expertise.
- Awareness of trends in engineering practices, tooling, and emerging technologies.
