Job description
Amazon is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing expert to drive awareness, customer adoption and demand generation for Amazon Web Servicesā (AWS) cloud computing solutions to the Public Sector in MENAT. This role is part of the MENAT Field Marketing team and will interface with EMEA and global teams to create integrated marketing programs for government, education, healthcare, and state-owned entities. The position requires designing programs to drive AWS adoption through targeted campaigns and messaging, ensuring alignment with sales goals and market priorities. The Marketing Lead will also contribute to regional demand generation strategy, build stakeholder relationships, and measure campaign performance.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute public sector field marketing programs to drive awareness, education, adoption and pipeline acceleration
- Apply best practices in integrated marketing campaigns to enhance customer experience across channels
- Influence regional planning to align with MENAT public sector targets and priorities
- Leverage global marketing resources creatively to meet sales goals on limited budgets
- Define targeting and segmentation strategies for multi-channel campaigns
- Serve as the main marketing contact for sales leadership and teams
- Inform country demand generation plans with Public Sector objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Pre-sales, Demand Generation and Solution Architecture teams
- Align marketing plans to business and sales objectives
- Communicate clearly and frequently with stakeholders about campaign strategy and progress
- Deliver detailed performance reviews using campaign KPIs and metrics
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in acquisition marketing or channel program management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive marketing improvements
- Proficiency in Excel or Tableau (e.g., data manipulation, pivot tables, charts)
- Proven success scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience managing campaigns across multiple timezones and languages
- Fluency in Arabic (written, spoken, and reading)
- Preferred: Experience aligning cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Preferred: Experience with Public Sector customers in GCC region
