The role demands strong knowledge of domestic and international leisure and travel industry markets, essential knowledge of Middle East domestic and international leisure markets, and key GCC government and diplomatic sales market knowledge. The Associate Director of Sales operates within a luxury hotel environment, preferably in cluster or multi property operations, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. The role develops and maintains strong relationships with leisure and travel industry accounts, government entities, embassies, diplomatic missions, and international organizations, identifies new business opportunities within public and diplomatic sectors, generates leads for the leisure segment, and prepares customized sales presentations and proposals. The Associate Director actively participates in sales calls to acquire new business opportunities, collaborates with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs, and attends relevant events, conferences, and receptions to represent the company. The position requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of diplomatic, government, and leisure segment trends, regulations, and procurement processes. The role supports both resorts in identifying domestic and international leisure business opportunities and government and diplomatic accounts while leveraging sales management software and CRM tools. Strong negotiation skills, presentation skills in English and Arabic, financial knowledge, strategic thinking, effective sales plan execution, and the ability to communicate clearly with cluster remote properties operations are critical to success. The position offers competitive salary in a tax-free environment, housing and transportation allowances, 30 days of vacation plus public holidays, medical and life insurance, Employee Assistance Program, worldwide complimentary room nights, opportunities for growth and development, and additional family benefits.
