As a Network Engineer at Presight, the role involves developing and enhancing network platform capabilities for a leading AI-powered big data analytics company. Responsibilities span designing and implementing high-performance, resilient, and secure network architectures across Smart City infrastructures, including AI-driven security systems and cloud platforms. Duties include building and maintaining network infrastructure, configuring and managing equipment like routers, switches, firewalls, proxy servers, WAN accelerators, and fiber optics, as well as troubleshooting and resolving network issues. The role demands proactive monitoring using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark, and ensuring network performance, security, and disaster recovery. The position involves international travel (up to 50%), compliance with IT security and QHSE policies, and collaboration with multiple teams and vendors to ensure business continuity and service excellence. Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Fortinet NSE are a plus, and expertise in cloud networking, micro segmentation, and predictive analytics is highly valued.
