Job description
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking a Program Manager to join the Global Benchmarking, Standards, and Audit (GBSA) team in Dubai. This role will focus on the Standards Program, working as part of a global SME network to localize standards, influence operational decisions, and support network growth. The Program Manager will serve as an intermediary between global teams and local operations, advocate for regional adoption of standards, and drive process improvements using LEAN principles. The role requires working with senior leadership, handling ambiguity, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve cost, quality, and scalability across Amazon’s delivery station network.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted intermediary between global teams and local operations to ensure effective adoption of global standards.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for Change Management in assigned process areas.
- Advocate for regional AMZL in global standards discussions.
- Support process improvements, best practice sharing, and standardization across Amazon Logistics processes using LEAN principles.
- Measure and establish standard rates for standard work to be used for labor and capacity planning.
- Provide metrics inputs that support compliance of standard work and that drive improvements in cost and quality.
- Collaborate with counterparts in Safety, Quality, Learning, Tech, Operations Engineering, and DS Launch SME team to standardize core process elements.
- Drive standardization of core process elements to support network growth and scale.
Experience & skills
- 4+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing priorities with speed.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.
- 2+ years of process improvement experience preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on attitude.
- Experience with statistical, financial, strategic, and operational analysis involving large data sets.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
