Job description

IS, IRC, Eurocode and other international standards govern the steel structure work under this Senior Structural Engineer role, supervising erection and installation across Overground metro stations including platforms, concourses, foot overbridges, and roofing systems. Structural integrity, quality, and compliance stay central throughout the construction phase, with every element of steel structure work executed against approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes. You will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues on site as they arise. Construction progress, quality control, and safety protocol adherence get monitored continuously across the erection process. Regular site inspections get conducted, with detailed reports prepared covering structural works, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to steel structures get reviewed and verified before work proceeds. Design teams receive direct liaison on site-related design modifications or clarifications as they come up. Documentation of inspections, approvals, and quality records stays properly maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
