Job description
The Senior Manager ā Commercial plays a strategic role in managing the commercial lifecycle of contracts across diverse business divisions. This includes evaluating financial and operational risk in tenders, driving profitability through strategic contract management, and ensuring adherence to corporate governance and local regulations. The role requires significant stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and leadership to influence and enhance the end-to-end client delivery and post-award lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
- Evaluate client contracts to identify financial exposure and commercial risk.
- Support pricing strategy, P&L review, and feasibility analysis for new and ongoing contracts.
- Oversee contractual documentation including tenders, bonds, and service agreements.
- Attend commercial reviews with Finance and Business Unit Heads to assess risk and mitigation.
- Review RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and provide guidance to solutions and business development teams.
- Ensure contracts follow governance and approval workflows in line with company policy.
- Collaborate with legal and procurement to align commercial terms with corporate and legal standards.
- Develop training programs for operations and account managers to improve commercial awareness.
- Ensure SLAs and KPIs are defined and cascaded to operations and supply chain stakeholders.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or similar discipline.
- 6-8 years of experience in commercial, contract, or account management in a B2B environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial clauses, service agreements, and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Oracle platforms.
- Ability to assess market conditions and drive commercially sound decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
