Job description
The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, planning, and reporting activities for the destination. This role ensures effective budgeting, financial controls, cost tracking, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The position plays a critical part in supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial insight and analysis while supervising the finance team to ensure continuous development.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and reconciliation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor operating expenditures and implement cost control initiatives
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with department heads
- Manage financial audits and respond to audit findings
- Coordinate payroll, procurement, and vendor payment activities
- Develop financial models and dashboards to support management decisions
- Support capital expenditure planning and asset management
- Supervise finance team members and ensure continuous development
- Provide input to the Department’s strategy from the Section or Unit perspective
- Develop Section or Unit objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans ensuring performance targets are met
- Contribute to Section or Unit’s budget preparation and monitor financial performance
- Implement and ensure adherence to Section or Unit policies and procedures
- Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of Section or Unit employees
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8 years of experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- CPA/CMA preferred
- Expert in financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in budgeting and forecasting
- Advanced proficiency in cost control
- Advanced financial analysis skills
- Intermediate proficiency in ERP/Finance systems
- Advanced proficiency in regulatory compliance
