Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor operating expenditures and implement cost control initiatives
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with department heads
• Manage financial audits and respond to audit findings
• Coordinate payroll, procurement, and vendor payment activities
• Develop financial models and dashboards to support management decisions
• Support capital expenditure planning and asset management
• Supervise finance team members and ensure continuous development
• Provide input to the Department’s strategy from the Section or Unit perspective
• Develop Section or Unit objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans ensuring performance targets are met
• Contribute to Section or Unit’s budget preparation and monitor financial performance
• Implement and ensure adherence to Section or Unit policies and procedures
• Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of Section or Unit employees
