Job description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (Arabic Speaker) is an on-site, full-time executive role based in Dubai, UAE, leading the financial strategy of a diversified media, events, and investments group. The CFO focuses on strengthening governance, overseeing multi-entity consolidation, enabling Oracle Fusionādriven digital transformation, and ensuring financial transparency to support sustainable growth. As part of the executive team, the CFO directs financial planning, capital efficiency, compliance, and operational performance across all subsidiaries and requires leadership experience and deep financial expertise with exposure to media, large-scale events, sponsorship revenue, and multi-entity reporting. Strategic finance responsibilities include defining long-term financial strategy with the CEO and Board; leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and capital allocation; and overseeing M&A, investment analysis, KPIs, and performance reporting. Media & revenue finance responsibilities include managing financial operations for content, licensing, partnerships, advertising, and digital revenue and ensuring IFRS 15 compliance and profitability analysis across media activities. Events finance responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, cost tracking, revenue reconciliation, and reporting for festivals and major events, delivering real-time dashboards, and conducting post-event analysis. Sponsorships and stakeholder reporting responsibilities include managing financial structures for sponsorships, funding, and grants and ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and audit-ready reporting. Corporate finance, treasury, and risk responsibilities include leading cash management, banking relationships, financing, and risk management, conducting scenario modelling, and supporting fundraising or M&A readiness. Compliance and statutory reporting responsibilities include ensuring compliance with UAE CT, VAT, ESR, and all regulatory requirements, leading IFRS 18 readiness, e-invoicing implementation, consolidation, and audits. Oracle Fusion and digital transformation responsibilities include optimizing Oracle Fusion ERP, automating workflows, enhancing BI and analytics, and implementing AI-driven forecasting and data-driven financial processes. Team leadership responsibilities include leading and developing teams across finance functions, building a high-performance culture, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration. Requirements include a Bachelorās in Finance/Accounting with MBA preferred, 15+ years of experience including 5+ years at CFO/senior leadership level, media/events or multi-entity holding experience, and strong expertise across IFRS, tax, treasury, consolidation, and Oracle Fusion. Preferred credentials include CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA and strengths in communication, commercial acumen, and transformation leadership.

- Manage financial structures for sponsorships, funding, and grants and ensure accurate tracking, compliance, and audit-ready reporting
- Lead cash management, banking relationships, financing, and risk management and conduct scenario modelling to support fundraising or M&A readiness
- Ensure compliance with UAE CT, VAT, ESR, and all regulatory requirements and lead consolidation and audits within statutory reporting obligations
- Lead IFRS 18 readiness and implement e-invoicing, consolidation processes, and audit execution
- Optimize Oracle Fusion ERP, automate workflows, enhance BI and analytics, and implement AI-driven forecasting and data-driven financial processes
- Lead and develop finance teams, build a high-performance culture, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration across the group
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās in Finance/Accounting with an MBA preferred
- Bring 15+ years of experience including 5+ years at CFO/senior leadership level
- Have media/events experience or multi-entity holding experience and exposure to large-scale events and sponsorship revenue
- Demonstrate strong expertise in IFRS, tax, treasury, multi-entity consolidation, and Oracle Fusion / Oracle Fusion ERP
- Be able to strengthen governance, oversee multi-entity consolidation, and ensure financial transparency across subsidiaries
- Be able to lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and capital allocation and oversee KPIs and performance reporting
- Be able to manage financial operations for content, licensing, partnerships, advertising, and digital revenue and ensure IFRS 15 compliance and profitability analysis
- Be able to oversee events finance including budgeting, cost tracking, revenue reconciliation, reporting, real-time dashboards, and post-event analysis for festivals and major events
- Be able to manage sponsorships, funding, and grants structures and ensure compliance and audit-ready stakeholder reporting
- Be able to lead cash management, banking relationships, financing, risk management, and scenario modelling and support fundraising or M&A readiness
- Be able to ensure compliance with UAE CT, VAT, ESR, lead IFRS 18 readiness, and implement e-invoicing and audits
- Be able to optimize Oracle Fusion ERP, automate workflows, enhance BI and analytics, and implement AI-driven forecasting and data-driven financial processes
- Hold CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA as preferred credentials and demonstrate communication strength, commercial acumen, and transformation leadership
