Job description
The Graphic Communication Specialist at IKEA Jebel Ali will ensure consistent and effective in-store visual communication in line with IKEA’s brand standards. The role involves planning and executing graphic solutions that communicate product features, support commercial activities, and enhance customer engagement. Responsibilities include daily checks on graphic display implementation, ensuring compliance with IKEA trademark and communication manuals, and working closely with sales and logistics teams to align graphics with sales targets and activity calendars. The role also demands adapting communication to market trends and competitor activities, while maintaining IKEA’s brand identity in both customer-facing and non-customer areas.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure IKEA Trade Name & Word mark compliance with the IKEA Trademark Manual
- Plan and execute graphic solutions highlighting product features and solutions in-store
- Conduct daily and weekly checks on graphic displays for consistency and correct translations
- Collaborate with Sales and Logistics to plan and implement graphic solutions aligned with sales targets and activity calendar
- Execute graphic changes aligned with the store’s commercial calendar
- Implement communication in sales support and non-customer areas to strengthen visitor perception
- Develop knowledge of IKEA Graphic Com-In materials and guidelines
- Stay updated with competitor activities, local market, and customer communication trends
Experience & skills
- Educational qualification in Arts/Graphic design
- Experience working in graphic design, preferably in retail
- Proficiency with sign-making equipment
- Proficiency with Macintosh graphic software
- Strong understanding of customer focus, accountability, leadership, and teamwork
- Ability to maintain and enhance store standards through visual communication
- Collaboration skills with sales and logistics teams
- Commitment to continuous improvement in line with IKEA standards
