The Senior Social Media Specialist role is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of the brand’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. The position focuses on managing active social accounts, producing and publishing high-quality content, and maintaining a strong, consistent, and engaging brand identity. The role requires hands-on content creation across multiple formats such as short-form videos, static posts, carousels, Stories, Reels, captions, and platform-specific copywriting, ensuring content is aligned with brand voice and quality standards. The specialist is expected to operate as both creator and account owner, driving ideation, trend adaptation, content execution, and optimization based on performance signals. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining a practical content calendar focused on execution and content flow, rather than long-term strategic planning. The role emphasizes active monitoring of social media trends, cultural moments, and platform updates to convert them into timely and relevant brand content opportunities. The specialist also identifies and explores organic partnerships, collaborations, and creator-driven opportunities to enhance brand visibility and authenticity. Additionally, the role includes leading community management by engaging with audiences, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a positive brand presence. The position requires coordination with internal teams such as marketing, design, product, and PR to support launches, announcements, and campaigns through social content execution. Performance tracking is limited to core engagement metrics such as reach, interaction, and engagement rate to inform content improvement, without heavy reliance on advanced analytics or paid media tools. The role requires strong creative execution skills, platform-native content understanding, and the ability to manage multiple social channels efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Manage and oversee daily operations of all social media accounts by ensuring consistent posting schedules, maintaining engagement with audiences, and preserving a unified brand voice across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Create, produce, and publish high-quality social media content including short-form videos, static posts, carousels, Stories, Reels, captions, and copy tailored to platform-specific requirements and audience behavior.
- Develop and maintain a practical content calendar focused on execution, ensuring continuous content flow, timely publishing, and alignment with platform relevance and brand activity.
- Own the end-to-end content creation process including ideation, trend adaptation, coordination with designers or creators, content production, publishing, and performance-based optimization.
- Monitor social media trends, cultural moments, and platform updates continuously and translate them into relevant, timely, and engaging brand content opportunities.
- Identify and execute organic partnership and collaboration opportunities with creators or brands to increase visibility, engagement, and authenticity of the social media presence.
- Lead community management by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and direct messages, and maintaining a consistent and positive brand reputation online.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, design, product, and PR to support campaign launches, announcements, and brand initiatives through social media execution.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts and producing content for brands, agencies, or creators in a professional environment.
- Provide a strong portfolio showcasing previously managed social media accounts, content outputs, or campaigns demonstrating creativity, engagement, and execution capability.
- Exhibit proven ability to create culturally relevant and engaging content, particularly short-form video formats optimized for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Manage multiple social media platforms effectively while adapting content formats, tone, and execution style according to each platform’s requirements and audience behavior.
- Apply strong creative thinking and content ideation skills with a sharp understanding of trends, storytelling techniques, and visual communication standards.
- Write effective captions, hooks, and short-form copy that align with brand tone of voice and drive audience engagement across social platforms.
- Operate content creation tools such as CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software to shoot, edit, or coordinate short-form video production.
- Work independently with strong ownership over social media accounts while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
