Job description
Around 450 km of high-speed railway signalling between Makkah and Madinah is maintained by Siemens, and this Maintenance Site Manager runs one of the maintenance centres along the Haramain High-Speed Railway. The team works 24/7, handling corrective and preventive maintenance, incident response, troubleshooting and restoration. Contractual KPIs set the standard, covering system availability, response and repair times, preventive maintenance completion and the reduction of recurring incidents. Recurring faults get analysed so that mitigation measures can be put in place. Trackside visits for inspection, supervision and coordination are a regular part of the job, and spare parts, tools, equipment and logistics need careful management to keep critical stock available. Coordination extends to other Siemens teams, fellow Maintenance Site Managers, the Project Manager, consortium partners and the customer. A bachelor's degree in Industrial, Telecommunications or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field is required, along with fluent English and Arabic and a valid driving license. Saudi Nationals are preferred, though holders of a valid Saudi Iqama with the right employment eligibility can apply. Experience with Electronic Interlocking Systems, Axle Counters, Track Circuits, ETCS Level 2 or Traffic Control Centres, or on the Haramain project itself, is an advantage, and the role comes with a company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone.
