Job description
The Retail Sales Executive role within a telecommunications retail environment is responsible for delivering front-line sales and service excellence across telecom and data products. The role focuses on explaining product features and benefits, conducting comparative selling, and recommending appropriate services to meet customer needs. The position requires maintaining a clean and organized workstation and store environment, ensuring accurate handling of stock and cash, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role encompasses end-to-end customer service activities including document verification, completion of sales transactions, technical and service onboarding, account changes such as migrations, upgrades and downgrades, and providing technical usage support. Additional responsibilities include supporting self-care registration, assisted self-service, bill payments, recharges, and resolving billing disputes or errors. The role requires strong product knowledge, transaction accuracy, customer-focused execution, and adherence to operational processes within a telecom retail setting.

Key responsibilities
- Explain product features and benefits to customers and conduct comparative selling with appropriate service recommendations
- Demonstrate telecom and data products to customers to support informed purchasing decisions
- Maintain a tidy and clean workstation and retail store environment with properly organized brochures and information leaflets
- Achieve assigned sales targets and key performance indicators
- Issue payments and receipts for sales and services while ensuring accurate transaction processing and data entry
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, propositions, and company communications
- Ensure stock and cash assigned are balanced with no discrepancies
- Verify customer documents and complete end-to-end sales transactions
- Perform customer technical and service onboarding activities
- Process account changes including migrations, upgrades, and downgrades
- Provide technical usage support and how-to guidance to customers
- Support self-care registration and assisted self-service activities
- Process bill payments and recharges accurately
- Resolve customer billing disputes or errors in a timely manner
Experience & skills
- Possess retail or customer service experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry
- Demonstrate good understanding of telecom and data products and services
- Hold a minimum high school certificate for UAE Nationals or a diploma for expatriates
- Demonstrate computer literacy using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exhibit ability to accurately handle cash and stock without discrepancies
- Demonstrate capability to complete customer onboarding, account changes, and technical support tasks
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English, with Arabic or other languages preferred
