Job description
Suspicious cases need catching early, and this Fraud Analyst role exists to review them and flag red flags across customer and transaction data before they escalate. Edenred UAE serves more than 15,000 businesses and over 2.2 million unbanked employees across more than 10 banks and 35 financial institutions, and fraud detection across that payroll and payments network sits within the Compliance function. You will perform early stage review and investigation of suspected fraud cases received from internal teams, partners, banks, merchants, customers, and third-party vendors. Case intake, data gathering, and escalation of suspicious activities to Fraud Analysts or Compliance teams all fall within first-level fraud operations activities. Customer applications, transaction behavior, documents, and supporting evidence get reviewed to identify red flags, inconsistencies, forgery, impersonation, or misuse. Investigations get documented in line with internal SOPs, audit standards, and regulatory requirements, with internal escalation forms prepared according to policy. Operations, Customer Support, and external law enforcement agencies all get engaged on fraud matters as needed, and responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and internal reviews receive support. Case registers, investigation logs, and evidence repositories stay accurately maintained to support audits and reporting.
