Job description
The Information Technology Manager – Staff Accommodation is responsible for end-to-end IT operational readiness, governance, and performance across a large-scale residential staff accommodation portfolio under Qiddiya Investment Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures reliable, secure, and resident-centric digital services across a rapidly expanding ecosystem expected to reach approximately 13,000 residential units by 2030. The position acts as the client-side IT owner and integrator for all digital and technology systems supporting staff accommodation, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT architecture, cybersecurity standards, and governance frameworks. It oversees digital infrastructure readiness across mobilisation, launch, and steady-state operations, ensuring all IT systems including networks, Wi-Fi, access control, CCTV, IoT-enabled facilities management devices, and smart building systems are fully commissioned, tested, and operational. The role ensures IT systems are compliant, scalable, resilient, and integrated into a 24/7 residential environment. It governs IT operations in coordination with corporate IT, security, FM teams, and external service providers, ensuring high service availability and seamless resident digital experience. The position also manages IT governance, cybersecurity compliance, vendor performance, IT service delivery, incident response, and continuous improvement of technology systems. It ensures real-time visibility of IT performance through dashboards, monitors system health, and proactively mitigates risks to prevent service disruption to residents and operations.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT operational readiness for staff accommodation assets including mobilisation, construction handover, phased occupancy, and steady-state operations
- Ensure full commissioning, testing, and activation of IT infrastructure including networks, Wi-Fi systems, digital platforms, and end-user services prior to day-one operations
- Oversee network reliability, coverage, and performance across residential buildings, communal areas, and integrated smart facility environments
- Integrate and manage access control systems, CCTV platforms, IoT-enabled FM systems, and smart building technologies in alignment with enterprise IT architecture
- Enforce IT governance frameworks ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, data protection requirements, and IT architecture standards
- Manage IT service operations including helpdesk systems, incident management workflows, SLA adherence, and escalation procedures
- Develop and maintain IT performance dashboards covering uptime, cybersecurity risks, incident response metrics, and system availability indicators
- Manage IT vendors, system integrators, and service providers ensuring SLA compliance, contractual performance, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with corporate IT, FM, and security teams to conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident response activities
- Ensure continuous improvement of IT services including optimization of network performance, system resilience, and digital resident experience
- Support resident digital services including mobile applications, Wi-Fi access, self-service portals, and integrated service request platforms
- Oversee cybersecurity monitoring, incident response readiness, and compliance with organizational and regulatory security frameworks
Experience & skills
- Apply IT operations and infrastructure management expertise to support large-scale residential or enterprise environments
- Manage enterprise-level network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resilience, and performance across multiple buildings and systems
- Implement cybersecurity governance and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001 awareness and security policy enforcement
- Operate IT service management frameworks such as ITIL to govern incident management, service delivery, and SLA performance
- Integrate and support smart building technologies including IoT systems, CCTV platforms, and access control infrastructure
- Manage IT vendors and outsourced service providers including SLA monitoring, performance reviews, and contract governance
- Support system integration across digital platforms, ensuring compatibility between FM systems, security systems, and IT infrastructure
- Demonstrate 8+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or enterprise IT environments with residential or large-scale operational exposure
