Job description
Egis operates across 8 countries in the Middle East with 3,500 employees and a track record of more than 700 complex development projects, and this Dubai based seat sits inside that regional practice. Interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects start on your desk, developed to be both functional and genuinely usable once built. Site implementation follows, and you oversee it directly, checking that specifications and quality standards hold up as work progresses. Architects, contractors and other stakeholders all come through this role when design or construction issues need resolving. Project timelines, budgets and resources fall under the same management, alongside regular site visits to track progress and catch problems early. Building codes, regulations and safety standards specific to Dubai shape every decision made on site. Junior designers get mentorship and guidance here too, and you liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and present solutions that meet them. Industry trends, sustainable practices and new materials stay part of the ongoing conversation, keeping the work current rather than static.
