Job description
The Business Development Manager at Ajax Systems will drive growth and market penetration for Fire and Life Safety products across the UAE region. The role requires identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, onboarding partners, and managing client relationships at an executive level. The manager will leverage strong technical knowledge of fire systems, electronic security technologies including cloud-based solutions and IoT, and sales expertise to deliver proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, assessing customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services. The position requires achieving sales targets, managing multiple projects, and contributing to Ajax's mission of providing innovative security solutions to homes and businesses worldwide.

Key responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs on a quarterly and annual basis
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan in the UAE aligned with company objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners across the region to ensure coverage in key markets and verticals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's growth strategy
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Analyze market data to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in fire and life safety or a similar industry
- Sales experience in the UAE region, operating from Dubai
- Strong technical knowledge of fire systems
- Proven track record of managing the full sales process from lead generation to deal closure
- Experience developing and implementing successful sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts
- Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and develop effective solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of latest technologies and trends in electronic security, including cloud-based solutions and IoT
- Proficiency in English and conversational Arabic
