Job description
Small Enterprise relationships anchor this Business Banking role, spanning both an existing portfolio and new business sourced from communities around branch locations. You meet borrowing and non-borrowing needs across target segments, covering borrowers, transactors and depositors, while hitting assigned financial and non financial objectives. New-to-bank customers get sourced actively, with walk-in customers converted into fresh leads wherever possible. Up-selling, deep-selling and cross-selling run alongside day to day relationship management across the full customer base. Relationships originated by DS and those downgraded by the ME team get taken over using the bank's defined onboarding procedure. Opportunities to upgrade customers into the ME category get identified continuously through needs analysis and profiling. Portfolio quality and soundness stay under constant review, covering KYC checks, due diligence monitoring and anti money laundering procedures. Annual and periodic credit facility reviews get conducted on schedule, with recommendations aligned to the bank's credit policy to balance earnings against risk. Documentation, client visits, stock inspections and market feedback all feed into ongoing portfolio control, alongside coaching support for SSOs working toward higher levels of responsibility.
