Job description
The Operations Development Expert is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing operational processes in a regulatory-compliant environment. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements based on industry best practices, and overseeing system and software upgrades related to clearing and settlement operations. This individual contributes strategic recommendations to support organizational alignment, risk mitigation, and service quality enhancements across the operations function.

Key responsibilities
- Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement
- Implement process improvements using industry best practices and innovative solutions
- Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Oversee the implementation of new software and systems related to clearing
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and make necessary adjustments
- Identify potential risks in operational processes and develop mitigation strategies
- Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and recommendations related to operations
- Ensure continuous improvement in service quality and operational performance
- Advise on the division/department strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration
- Support the divisionās management by providing expert opinions and recommendations on specialized matters
- Advise on risk management and mitigation tactics within the division/department
- Recommend tools, frameworks, and methodology to ensure proper governance and monitoring of projects
- Advise on the development of future state process flows and suggest workflow changes based on market best practices
- Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or similar (Masterās preferred)
- Professional certifications are preferred
- 6+ years of experience in operations development, process improvement, or similar roles
- Experience within the financial services industry, including knowledge of CCP international standards
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
