Job description
The Associate Manager - Cyber Security role at Dubai Future Foundation is a critical position within the Enterprise Risk Management function. It ensures that the organization’s information security posture is robust, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. The role involves maintaining and enhancing the Information Security Management System, conducting risk and security assessments, developing governance-level policies, and assisting with awareness and training. This position plays a vital part in enabling resilience against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with standards, and advising management on security matters to safeguard the organization’s assets and reputation.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement and maintain DFF’s information security management system
- Coordinate with DFF teams on the identification, development, secure handling and management of DFF-wide information assets
- Conduct comprehensive information security, third-party security, and operational risk assessments
- Advise on appropriate security controls and verify that selected security controls are effectively implemented and maintained
- Develop governance-level Information Security policies and procedures in coordination with business owners
- Assist and support management with their information security responsibilities
- Assist in information security-related awareness, training, and education within DFF
- Assist in managing information security incidents
Experience & skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution
- Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Information Security
- Expertise in designing information security controls
- Expertise in network and cloud security
- Expertise in risk assessment techniques and business continuity planning
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Knowledge of standards, regulations and frameworks such as DESC, ISO/IEC, BSI, COBIT, ITIL, and COSO
- Active participation in information security interest groups, forums, and associations
