Job description
The Junior Account Manager role at Red Hat in Riyadh is part of the company’s expanding sales organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is open exclusively to Saudi nationals. The role focuses on developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients and partners while generating revenue through selling enterprise software products and services to new and existing customers. The position plays a critical role in Red Hat’s growth by identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, and presenting tailored software solutions. The role involves selling complex software solutions, managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, customer support, and product development, and maintaining accurate sales data using CRM tools. Exposure to infrastructure technologies such as operating systems, middleware, virtualization, cloud, and system management is considered an advantage. The role supports Red Hat’s enterprise open source portfolio, including Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies, within a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Engage regularly with clients and partners to understand evolving business needs and propose solutions aligned with their objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, managing inquiries, concerns, and issues professionally and promptly
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals to prospective customers
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to successfully close deals while maintaining company profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer support, and product development to ensure effective delivery of customer solutions
- Maintain accurate sales records, activity reports, forecasts, and client data using CRM software
- Provide regular sales performance updates and forecasts to sales management to support decision-making
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role selling software solutions
- Show a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets when selling complex solutions to large organizations and multiple decision-makers
- Possess strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, processes, and competitive offerings
- Demonstrate familiarity with CRM software and sales-related tools
- Have experience or an existing network within the IT infrastructure market, including operating systems, middleware, virtualization, cloud, and system management technologies (nice to have)
- Be a Saudi national, as the position is restricted to Saudi nationals only
