Job description
The Senior Business Development Manager role at Shipa Delivery is an on-site, full-time position responsible for defining and executing business growth strategy across domestic last-mile delivery and cross-border logistics within the GCC. Shipa Delivery operates a technology-enabled logistics platform that connects businesses to a network of delivery assets through mobile applications and online dashboards, offering on-demand, same-day, next-day, and cross-border delivery services with real-time GPS parcel tracking. The role is accountable for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating and managing sales leads, increasing revenue through cross-selling and upselling, and expanding existing client accounts across additional regions and services. The position manages domestic last-mile logistics opportunities as well as cross-border logistics between the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait, builds customer and partner networks, evaluates partnerships and collaborations, prepares sales forecasts and budgets, and works closely with internal teams on product enhancements, localization, implementation, and process development to support sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities
- Represent Shipa Delivery as the primary market-facing contact and brand ambassador
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic last-mile delivery
- Generate and manage cross-border logistics opportunities between UAE, KSA, and Kuwait
- Develop and maintain local and international customer networks and manage account requirements
- Create revenue-generating channels through cross-selling and upselling logistics services
- Manage and grow existing client accounts across additional regions and product offerings
- Identify, evaluate, and structure partnerships and collaborations to enhance the value proposition
- Set and manage sales targets aligned with business unit growth objectives
- Achieve annual budget targets through defined hunting and farming sales strategies
- Monitor sales and operational performance and mitigate risk through cross-functional communication
- Collaborate with core functions to plan and prioritize product enhancements and new offerings
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management
- Contribute to localization, implementation, and process decisions as an independent core team member
Experience & skills
- Hold a degree in Business Management or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience demonstrating business growth responsibility
- Demonstrate prior experience in logistics including courier, freight, or warehousing sectors
- Show experience in business development or sales roles within logistics environments
- Maintain knowledge of customer segments such as e-commerce, retail, and distribution
- Demonstrate familiarity with the regional logistics landscape across the GCC
