Job description
Large-scale building construction projects in Dubai run on a steady flow of MEP materials and equipment, and this senior procurement position keeps that flow on time and on budget. High-volume buying covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV and related systems. Procurement planning, strategic sourcing and vendor development are central, backed by strong contract negotiation. Budgets are managed with a clear focus on cost optimisation and supply chain efficiency. Several projects usually run at once, so coordination with project, engineering and commercial teams is constant. Technical specifications and project execution needs shape every purchase, as does a sound read of the local market. End-to-end procurement operations are yours to lead, with timely material availability as the measure of success. Fifteen to twenty years of MEP procurement experience in building construction is required, and a mechanical engineering degree is preferred.
