Job description
Contractual and commercial administration for the construction works falls to this role, acting on behalf of the supervision consultant at Qiddiya City and answering to client requirements throughout. You will oversee the contractor's commercial performance, covering payment applications, variations, claims, extensions of time, and other contractual submissions. Contractor valuations and payment applications get reviewed line by line, checking measured works, progress, supporting documentation, and contractual compliance. Variations, claims, change orders, and extension of time requests are assessed with clear recommendations passed to the client, supporting negotiation and resolution along the way. Commercial risks, cost impacts, and potential claims are tracked continuously, with mitigation and contractual strategy advice going to the client as issues arise. Contract documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and schedules all get reviewed to keep contract administration on solid footing. Reports, forecasts, and dashboards for the Project Director and client team give visibility into the contractor's financial and contractual position. Coordination runs across the Project Director, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Planning, technical disciplines, and client representatives, and the role also carries contractual correspondence, notices, and formal communications with the contractor through to commercial closeout, including final account assessment and reconciliation.
