Job description
New digital systems only pay off when people on the factory floor use them well, and this Dammam position at a GE Vernova manufacturing site is accountable for making that happen. As the site's Local Process Digital Authority, you cover ERP, MES and other digital systems across materials management, manufacturing operations, quality and maintenance. Deployment brings data conversion work, from validating legacy data and deciding on cleansing scope to owning classification and enrichment before go-live. Global process designs and system configurations are checked against what the site actually needs, while staying within enterprise standards. Testing, user acceptance, readiness reviews and go-live preparation all draw on your input. Once systems are live, role-based training programmes are yours to build and run. Escalated issues come to you, and the job is to tell a training gap from a process gap or a standard that needs updating. Utilisation, process compliance and master data quality are tracked, and lessons are shared with other sites through the DPE LPDA network. Five years in supply chain, materials or production operations, hands-on SAP or Oracle and MES experience, and strong Arabic are required.
