Job description
The Senior School Design Technology Teacher at Al Waha Campus will be responsible for delivering the Design Technology curriculum to students aged 11–18, following the English National Curriculum. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that promote creativity, innovation, and technical skills among secondary school students. The teacher will be expected to integrate technology into learning experiences, facilitate project-based and practical workshop activities, and assess student progress to support individual learning outcomes. This role requires expertise in curriculum delivery, classroom management, and instructional design, while fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment. The teacher will contribute to school-wide educational initiatives, support colleagues in developing teaching resources, and ensure students are well-prepared for examinations and assessments. Experience in managing and supervising practical projects, workshops, and hands-on technology sessions is essential to guide students effectively. Collaboration with peers, school leadership, and parents to promote student development and maintain high educational standards is a key aspect of this position.

- Plan, prepare, and deliver Design Technology lessons for students aged 11–18 following the English National Curriculum

Experience & skills
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Design Technology or related secondary education subjects
- Experience delivering the English National Curriculum to secondary school students aged 11–18
- Proficiency in planning, delivering, and assessing Design Technology lessons
- Ability to integrate technology and project-based learning into teaching
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Experience supervising practical workshops and hands-on learning activities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with colleagues, leadership, and parents
