Job description
The Creative Manager (Copy) role within Mastercardās Advisors Creative Desk is responsible for setting creative direction and delivering high-quality, on-brand copy-led creative work that drives measurable business impact across the EEMEA region. Operating within Mastercard Services and Marketing Services, the role supports consulting, marketing, loyalty, and analytics offerings for financial institutions and merchants. The position involves leading creative work from brief to delivery, translating strategic briefs into fully developed creative campaigns, and writing copy across multiple formats including brand narratives, scripts, digital, social, video, print, and direct-response materials. The Creative Manager (Copy) collaborates closely with the Creative Manager (Art), leads multidisciplinary creative teams, manages multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously, and oversees production and post-production. The role requires presenting ideas in internal and client forums, proactively identifying new creative opportunities, staying ahead of emerging trends, and ensuring all work adheres to Mastercard brand standards. In addition, the role carries responsibility for compliance with Mastercard information security policies, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, reporting security incidents, and completing mandatory security training.

- Lead and manage creative work from initial brief through final delivery while maintaining the highest standards of creative craft
- Translate strategic briefs and insights into strong, on-brand creative ideas and fully developed integrated campaigns
- Write and develop copy across brand narratives, scripts, digital, social, video, print, and direct-response channels
- Manage multiple clients, briefs, and deliverables in parallel, overseeing production and post-production activities
- Collaborate across creative, marketing, and consulting disciplines to deliver high-quality work across all touchpoints
- Present creative ideas clearly and confidently during internal reviews and client meetings
- Identify new creative opportunities and emerging trends to proactively enhance campaign effectiveness
- Ensure adherence to Mastercard information security policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandatory security training obligations
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of copywriting experience, including senior leadership roles at Creative Director level or above within full-service agencies
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio of brand-building and integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, social, and digital channels
- Hold a Bachelorās degree or equivalent qualification, with an advanced degree considered an advantage
- Have experience leading creative direction for integrated campaigns, preferably within finance or financial services brands
- Demonstrate proficiency in English, with additional languages advantageous and Arabic considered a strong plus
- Be willing and able to travel as required
