Job description

Responsible for analysis, implementation, configuration, and testing of customer-specific applications for existing hardware and software products in Water Solutions, with an end-to-end (E2E) focus. Tasks include analysing specifications for solution development; defining and developing solution architecture at a detailed technical level; adding software elements to existing software; defining detailed data semantics, structures, access and communication standards aligned to applied hardware, functionality and performance requirements; selecting algorithms for data processing; defining implementation approaches; detailing tasks for 3rd party contractors (via Jira/installation guides); analysing customer specifications aligned with defined products/solutions; defining and documenting parameterisation elements for both hardware and software; programming the solution; coordinating and tracking specific development activities performed by 3rd parties (scheduling/testing/quality); implementing and configuring the solution; testing the solution including interactions with other elements for own products and customer-specific environments, with tests potentially conducted at customer sites. Deliverables include comprehensive documentation of the developed/installed solution for maintenance and potential standardisation, creation of customer/solution-specific documentation for training and operations, support for provisioning of customer/3rd party training services, and customer support during the nursing period. The role is actively involved in migration activities and initial system load activities, and may contribute in early prototype testing or Proof Of Concept delivery, including presales cycles. Requires customer-centric engagement, the ability to translate needs into technology solutions, knowledge of software/programming languages, architecture, MS Office, and sound oral/written knowledge of a foreign language.
