Job description
Join the Front Office leadership team as a Duty Manager at Accor to maintain exceptional guest experiences and ensure smooth daily hotel operations. Responsible for managing Front Office activities, handling guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints, and ensuring timely service recovery. Leads, supports, and trains Front Office team members to maintain high service standards. Communicates policy, rate, and property updates to the team, drives revenue management culture through up-sells, motivates staff, and empowers problem-solving to deliver heartfelt guest experiences. Acts as Manager on Duty during shifts, ensures adherence to hotel policies, and creates a positive team-oriented work environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Front Office procedures, Opera PMS, and hospitality standards while fostering team performance and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
- Work on the Front Desk as needed and act as Manager on Duty during shifts
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and ensure timely service recovery
- Lead, support, and train Front Office team members to maintain high service standards
- Communicate updates on policies, rates, and property information clearly to the team
- Ensure all team members follow hotel policies, procedures, and service expectations
- Drive up-sells as part of Hotel revenue management culture
- Motivate and empower team members to problem solve and surprise guests with heartfelt moments
Experience & skills
- Minimum three years’ experience in the hospitality industry
- 12 months of relevant work experience in Front Office operations
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proven ability to act independently on all matters relating to team and guest safety and wellbeing in the absence of senior management
- Strong background in Front Office procedures and Opera PMS
- Immaculate personal presentation and high level of communication - both written and verbal
- Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster
- Ability to lead by example and create a positive, team-oriented work culture
