Job description
The TDI β MEA Technology Risk and Regulatory Specialist β AVP at Deutsche Bank operates within the Technology, Data and Innovation division, supporting the Branch Technology organization. This role ensures compliance with group policies and multiple regulatory frameworks across the Middle East and Africa region, with a focus on Saudi Arabia. The incumbent conducts regular assessments of technology systems, coordinates internal and external audits, collects data for regulatory reporting, advises business units and support functions on technology risk matters, and ensures timely submission of reports. The position requires collaboration with local and global stakeholders, including regulators, and emphasizes risk mitigation, compliance adherence, and communication excellence.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular assessments of Technology against multiple regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia
- Coordinate and act as single point of contact for internal and external audits related to Technology
- Collect and analyze data from various stakeholders to produce regulatory reporting and ensure timely submission
- Support, advise, and guide business units and support functions on technology risk matters and compliance questions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to maintain compliance and operational standards
- Ensure adherence to group policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices within Technology operations
Experience & skills
- 3β5 years experience in Technology risk management in banking or capital market sectors in Saudi Arabia
- Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia (SAMA, CMA, NCA, Tadawul)
- Ability to work in a high pace environment and virtual teams
- Experience in managing communications with stakeholders, both internal and external including regulators
- Bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university, focus on Computer Science
- Proficiency in Arabic to communicate with business partners and regulators
