Job description

Engineer VAS Services (VAS/Roaming/Signaling/Digital Enablement) responsible for end-to-end project implementation across VAS, Roaming, Signaling and Digital Enablement nodes, including planning, execution, vendor management, testing and handover to Service Operations. Owns the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), plans and raises Change Requests (CRs, CCRs, DCR), TFs form and entries in IBM Maximo on time, aligning PIP details with all stakeholders. Engages early with planning teams to set realistic target dates that meet company deliverables and business requirements, and discusses implementation issues directly with vendors. Acts as Project Manager for vendor teams, managing implementation of network nodes and network upgrades/expansions within the domain, supervising and performing acceptance testing execution, and reporting all implementation activities for VAS, Roaming, Voice and Digital Enablement to management. Contributes to technical requirements of RFPs and reviews/analyzes vendor responses; participates in RFP and RFI/RFQ stages to define solution implementation requirements and evaluate possible solutions with planning. Coordinates closely with CORE, operations/IP, ISRM and IT teams to achieve company goals, and is responsible for issuing PRs, PACs and FACs and ensuring their realization as planned. Requires minimum BSc in Electronics/Telecommunication or Computer Science, minimum 12 collective years of Telecom experience, preferred knowledge across Digital Enablement, VAS, Signaling and Roaming, with advanced technical skills and hands-on experience in configuration, system architecture, implementation and project management, strong troubleshooting and report analysis skills, and the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects under pressure while motivating and inspiring teams.
