The Senior Manager – Strategic Supplier Relationship Management role is a core leadership position within a flagship giga project under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, focused on developing a world-class entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination supported by multi-billion-dollar infrastructure, hospitality, retail, and service developments. The role is responsible for designing, building, and executing a comprehensive Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program to ensure long-term value creation, supply chain resilience, transparency, and continuity across a complex, multi-tier, global supplier ecosystem. The position oversees SRM governance models, supplier segmentation strategies, performance management frameworks, and risk mitigation processes aligned with procurement priorities, business unit requirements, and enterprise risk management objectives. The Senior Manager partners closely with procurement, supply chain risk, legal, finance, operations, and business units to manage supplier dependencies, assess supplier financial health, compliance history, ethical practices, and operational resilience. The role leads supplier performance monitoring through KPIs, vendor performance management programs, and quarterly business reviews, while embedding proactive risk mitigation and contingency planning. It also drives value creation through cost optimization, sustainability, digital innovation, co-development initiatives, and early supplier involvement, supporting ESG objectives and Vision 2030 outcomes. The role includes leadership responsibility for building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing SRM team within a complex matrix organization.
