The Key Account Manager ā Used Commercial Vehicles & Industrial Equipment role within Al-Futtaim Automotive FAMCO is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for used Commercial Vehicles (CV) and Industrial Equipment (IE) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing and managing strategic B2B customer relationships across government entities, fleet operators, and private sector clients while promoting Al-Futtaimās comprehensive automotive solutions. The position operates within the Used Business Sales Team and reports directly to the Sales Manager while collaborating closely with the Head of Sales and Product Manager to define and achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives by vehicle model and market segment. The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving defined monthly sales targets for used commercial vehicles and industrial equipment units while implementing structured sales forecasting processes that provide accurate weekly projections of sales volume and gross margin performance. The role requires ongoing tracking, measurement, and analysis of sales performance metrics to identify potential performance gaps and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of business objectives. The position involves identifying and pursuing key account opportunities across government organizations, fleet management companies, and private sector businesses in order to increase market share and strengthen the presence of Al-Futtaimās used commercial vehicle and industrial equipment portfolio in the KSA market. The Key Account Manager builds and maintains long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term account growth. The role also involves supporting negotiations and commercial contract discussions to achieve mutually beneficial agreements that maximize revenue while maintaining competitive pricing strategies. Additionally, the position promotes Al-Futtaimās total mobility solutions including vehicle sales, automotive finance options, insurance products, service contracts, and other value-added offerings that enhance customer value and drive sustainable revenue growth. The role requires strong analytical and financial awareness to monitor sales performance, evaluate commercial opportunities, and support data-driven sales decision-making while using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare reports, presentations, and performance analyses.

- Drive the achievement of monthly sales targets for Used Commercial Vehicles (CV) and Industrial Equipment (IE) units by actively managing the sales pipeline, identifying opportunities, and closing transactions across government, fleet, and private sector customers.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and Product Manager to define monthly and quarterly sales objectives by vehicle model, equipment category, and market segment while aligning sales strategies with broader business goals.
- Develop and maintain a structured sales forecasting process that generates accurate weekly projections of sales volumes and gross margins and communicate these forecasts effectively to senior sales management.
- Track, measure, and analyze sales performance metrics throughout each sales cycle using sales data and financial indicators to identify gaps in performance and implement corrective actions that ensure achievement of revenue and margin targets.
- Identify and pursue strategic key account opportunities across government organizations, fleet operators, and private sector companies to expand the market share of Used Commercial Vehicles and Industrial Equipment across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders within customer organizations to ensure high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term account development.
- Support negotiations and commercial contract discussions with customers by evaluating pricing structures, commercial terms, and value propositions to achieve mutually beneficial and commercially viable agreements.
- Promote Al-Futtaimās total solution offerings by integrating vehicle sales with finance solutions, insurance products, service contracts, and other value-added offerings to maximize customer value and increase profitability.
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās degree in any discipline with preference given to candidates with academic backgrounds in Engineering or Management.
- Possess a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience within the automotive industry, preferably involving sales of Heavy Commercial Vehicles or Industrial Equipment.
- Demonstrate proven experience managing key accounts within competitive B2B sales environments including government organizations, fleet operators, and large private sector customers.
- Possess strong commercial awareness and financial understanding including the ability to evaluate gross margins, analyze sales performance metrics, and develop accurate sales forecasts.
- Demonstrate experience in negotiation and contract discussions involving automotive or equipment sales, ensuring commercially viable agreements and long-term customer partnerships.
- Possess strong analytical and numerical capabilities enabling the evaluation of sales performance data, customer opportunities, and financial results to support data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting, performance analysis, forecasting, and presentations.
- Possess prior experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia automotive market, which is considered a strong advantage for understanding local market dynamics and customer networks.
