The Legal Counsel at Mamo will play a pivotal role in supporting the legal, regulatory, and governance functions of a fast-paced fintech startup based in Dubai. This mid-level position is responsible for managing commercial contracts from end-to-end, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as NDAs, SaaS/MSAs, and supplier contracts. The role includes ownership of corporate governance activities such as preparing board packs, drafting resolutions, and handling filings in the UAE and relevant jurisdictions. As a point of contact across the business, the Legal Counsel will triage urgent legal requests, support commercial negotiations, assist with licensing updates and regulatory communications, and coordinate with external counsel. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of legal experience with strong UAE and GCC exposure, particularly in fintech and digital payments. The role requires excellent communication, high proficiency in tech tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure, all within a startup environment that values autonomy and process improvement.
