Job description
The Senior Manager, QHSE Learning & Continuous Improvement at Masdar is responsible for embedding a proactive culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role focuses on developing and implementing QHSE learning, training, and communications processes to enhance engagement, safety culture, and operational performance. The position involves working closely with the Head of QHSE and cross-functional teams to identify performance improvement opportunities, drive transformational change programs, and ensure alignment with Masdar’s strategic vision as a global clean energy leader.

Key responsibilities
- Support and implement strategic plans and initiatives related to QHSE learning and continuous improvement
- Facilitate transformational change programs related to QHSE to drive adoption of new processes and behaviours
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and adjust as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders for effective execution
- Align with internal communications to define and deliver QHSE communication plans
- Contribute QHSE stories and content to internal news feeds
- Develop QHSE-specific communication strategies to drive safety culture and awareness
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely delivery within budget
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analysing performance metrics, conducting audits, and leading incident investigations
- Design and implement comprehensive QHSE training programs
- Provide expert QHSE guidance and support across all organizational levels
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance QHSE performance and reduce risks
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Risk, QHSE, or related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in QHSE, strategy development, change management, or performance improvement in multinational companies
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills
- Business process management experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
- Experience in management consulting or corporate strategy (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with consultative approach
- Experience in leading strategic initiatives and projects
